Big news for USD 329, all buildings in the
district made not only AYP, the measure of annual yearly progress
on the Kansas Assessments, but every building also made the Kansas
State Standard of Excellence in at least one of the areas
tested. This is an outstanding achievement for the students
and staff throughout the district. Students in grades 3
through 11 are tested in math and reading and must meet the
established standards to meet yearly progress so that each building
and the district are state accredited. Students can also
score high enough to meet the standard of excellence, a much higher
level of achievement. We are currently working to prepare
students again for the assessments that will begin in March across
the district.
