Dare to Dream!

This past week Wabaunsee's FCCLA chapter was in Orlando, FL. for its national conference. We had four JH STAR Event competitors, three HS STAR Event competitors, five Knowledge Bowl Members, and the Kansas State President. We attended a variety of workshops that helped us grow as leaders and represented Wabaunsee and Kansas well in our competition. Two of our STAR events made Top 10 in the nation, with one winning Second Place! We had a total of three gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal. Our knowledge bowl team was able to dominate our competition room and progress to the top 16 bracket play. We unfortunately lost in a close battle to our neighboring state on the west.

Leah Schrader & Adalynn Miller - Chapter in Review Level 2 - Top 10 qualifier; 4th in Nation; Gold
Aliyah Anderson - Interior Design Level 1 - 11th place; Silver
Aubrey Imthurn - Interior Design Level 3 - 21st place; Gold
Cyler Orton & Sadie Wright - Event Management Level 1 - 30th Place; Bronze
Knowledge Bowl - Conrad Cassell, Hannah Ringel, Kennedy Weisshaar, Rhett Parry, Isabelle Stuhlsatz - Top 16 bracket
