Charger Nation, Arise!!! Today, our Wabaunsee Charger team had the incredible opportunity to showcase our commitment to student success before the legislative special committee on education. We were joined by some outstanding students - Payton Wurtz, Miguel Hernandez, Ava Meinhardt, and Rhett Perry - who observed the proceedings with curiosity and pride. I was accompanied by some amazing members of the charger team who helped me present our district data and The Leader in Me approach to the social-emotional character development we utilize in USD 329: Callie Meinhardt, Annie Frank, and Jordan Dunn. Our district's remarkable performance data in attendance, behavior, and academic achievement speaks volumes. These are not just numbers; they are the result of a collective effort, where our entire community stands united to uplift our students. While we're grateful for the recognition from the legislators, we want to emphasize that our success isn't solely attributed to any one thing, but to our shared values and unwavering commitment to our students' growth. It's a testament to the dedication of our teachers, the support of our families, and the hard work of our students, wrapped in the love from our community. Let's raise our Charger pride high and celebrate our community's remarkable achievement! Start at 6:06:25 to watch our testimony.: https://www.youtube.com/live/t6vLe21D0FA?si=Pf4ZXuICETRJf4_o
